Expanded disease treatment

Expanded disease treatment support where people can select a symptom and find the right doctor based on the symptom, care facility or prescription. Suction dilation and curettage (D&C). During D&C, the doctor dilates the cervix and removes the tissues inside the uterus using a small vacuum-like device. After that, the walls of the uterus are scraped to remove any remaining molar tissue. The patient may receive a drug called oxytocin that helps the uterus contract to normal size. A D&C is used when there is a molar pregnancy and allows for preservation of a woman’s fertility. Side effects may include some vaginal bleeding, infection, scarring inside the uterus, cramping, and blood clots. Talk with your health care team about what to expect from this procedure.

Like you, I used to be quite active. I would bike about 12 to 15 miles a day and run 3 to 6 miles a day. About a year after my first surgery, I was able to slowly start running again, but still had a bit of post-surgical pain in my left foot. The removal of the lesion, along with some of the surrounding fascia tissue to obtain clean margins affected the mechanics of my left foot. Also, being in a cast over my thigh, though only for about three weeks, resulted in a noticeable loss of muscle mass.

Lyme Meningitis inflammation

Lyme Meningitis inflammation of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord called the meninges. It often occurs when an infection elsewhere in the body spreads through the blood and into the cerebrospinal fluid (the fluid that circulates in the spaces in and around the brain and spinal cord). One form of bacterial meningitis is related to Lyme disease. Lyme meningitis is generally less severe than other forms of bacterial meningitis and is not fatal. Lyme meningitis may be the first evidence of Lyme disease, occurring without a history of erythema chronicum migrans or flu-like illness. Symptoms in milder cases of encephalitis usually include: headache, fever, stiff neck, sensitivity to light, nausea, sleepiness, confusion.

Currently, there are several prescription drugs avail- able that are capable of reducing the frequency and duration of HSV-1 and HSV-2 outbreaks. The active component of most such drugs is acyclovir. The drugs differ in the amount of acyclovir that they actually deliver to the body in useable form. When taken daily, it reduces the frequency of outbreaks, and the outbreaks that occur are of shorter duration and lesser intensity. When taken only for acute outbreaks, they shorten their duration but have no impact on the frequency of outbreaks throughout the year.

What is this disorder?

While the syndrome was long viewed cynically, ME/CFS is now acknowledged as a medical syndrome, not a psychiatric or psychological one 7. It is not just a state of being tired or exhausted, it is a complicated disorder characterized by extreme fatigue, more intense than what is usually experienced after exhausting physical or mental work. The diagnosis demands the exclusion of other diseases with similar symptoms. ME/CFS fatigue is more comparable to the fatigue caused by radiation, head injuries, or other types of biological assault. Other symptoms are widespread muscle and joint pain, cognitive issues, and even headaches. The symptoms do not subside with rest and it is frequently noted that those who suffer from ME/CFS have higher rates of suicide.
